Description
Annotation translation: "The cowboys in the vicinity of Kutschuk ride on the big and small animals when they drive the cattle out to seek fodder. Chinese cattle-rearing is in a sorry state. The Chinese plant no fodder crops - the cattle have to be driven out to look for fodder in the hedgerows and other places which are not cultivated. Because of this poor fodder situation the cows give little milk. Even when the cow gets a calf the farmers let the calf feed from the mother as long as it wants to."
