U. S. navy officers approaching Meridian Corners from San Jose. Stevens Creek Road at 3:15 PM May 12, 1908. New Meridian and Sam Storm's markets are on opposite corner's. The Pacific Fleet visited the U.S. West Coast before resuming their World cruise from December 1907 - February 1909.
