Commando troops arriving at City Hall on January 4, 1944, during a realistic "attack" staged as a prelude to the "Los Angeles Attacks" Army-Navy Show to be held Saturday and Sunday at the Coliseum. They arrived at the Civic Center in trucks and jeeps and waited in hiding until the attack signal came.
