Photograph caption dated December 26, 1959 reads, "High Scoring Ace - A slashing type runner, Bob Parks set an all-time Birmingham High School scoring record in 1959 when he counted 66 points. His flashy running won him first team honors on the All-West Valley League team and a berth on the third All-City crew." Parks was selected for the 1959 Helms All - City football squad.
