Willow Glen Volunteer Fire Department, in front of Willow Glen Firehouse. Organized August 26, 1929; disbanded September 16, 1936. Officers: Howard K. Buffington, Chief; Stephen J. Mascovich, Assistant Chief; Louis a. Bergna, Captain; Thomas Skaggs, Engineer. Front row [squatting]- William Barstow, Willard Thomas, George Innes, Mark Temple, Patrolman Ed Pracna, Chief of Police Paul Smith. Second row - R. Carson, C. C. Van Ness, Barry Amori, Clarence Fischer, Richard Fox, John Davis, Walter Carey, Chief Howard Buffington, Ralph DeQuine, George Millard, Louis Bergna.
