Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Ranch Agua Hedionda in Carlsbad, ca.1930. A one-story adobe home, one of the four owned by Juan Maria Marron, is pictured at center, behind a patch of what appears to by dying corn. The home itself is in a state of disrepair, the spackle coming away from the adobe brick, and the shingles of the hut-style roof missing in spots. A wooden awning extends just under the roof and over the porch, although it is missing a number of planks in its construction. A gently sloping hill is visible in the immediate background.
