F. Grizel": "Ed, This recording was made on September 23rd field trip to Hornitos and Smelling. At the beginning we are at Merced Falls and Harry Schmidt (member) is telling about the area. He is joined by Jerry Hagman (member). At Swelling and Hornitos the nattation is by Mrs. Estep (sp?)."
