Attorney Evan Wolfson, recorded at the "new" SF Main Library in 1996. Evan's talk begins at 08:30. He covers the 1987 version of the Supreme Court's definition of marriage, warns about the opposition already being organized, the recently-passed federal Defense of Marriage Act, cases of same-sex wins in state courts, and the surprising new polls that say one-third of Americans currently support same-sex marriage.
