Photograph caption dated November 17, 1954 reads "Nominating unit chief." The article partially reads "Ed Newcomb, vice president of the Auto Union, a North Hollywood car club, and chairman of a presidential nominating committee for the planned car club federation, today urged all car clubs in and around the San Fernando Valley to send one delegate each to a meeting of the committee Monday."
