"This is the Northgate Shopping Center at Northgate Boulevard and El Camino Avenue which will hold its formal opening this week. Actually, it's the first phase of a $10 million, 45 acre center. The portion already built covers 50,000 square feet of floor space and represents a $2.5 million investment by the Cal-Idaho Northgate Development Co. The architect for the center was Kenneth C. Rickey and the general contractor was the Erickson Construction Co., both of Sacramento"
