Description
Two women wear morning dresses for February 1799. The woman on the left wears a pink and light blue striped hat with a pink tassel on top that ties under the chin. The dress has a wide ruffle collar and ruffles over the shoulders, down the side and along the hem. Underneath she wears a simple, light blue dress with elbow length sleeves and white shoes. She holds a blond, wavy-textured fur muff in her left hand. The woman on the right wears a black and white striped hat with a double row of violet ruffles down the center. A white ruffled collar sticks up from underneath a violet capelet with ermine lapels. She wears a simple white floor length dress and pointed, violet shoes. She holds a brown, fuzzy textured fur muff.
