Description
Photograph of women standing in a wooden cart pulled by a team of oxen, Los Angeles, ca.1920. The cart can be seen at right and four women in Spanish-style costumes can be seen standing in it. Two dark-colored oxen are yoked to the cart and can be seen grazing at left. A man in a dark cowboy hat is standing at right and holding a pole attached to the cart. Grass can be seen around the vehicle, and mountains are visible far in the distance. Compares to CHS-36709, which shows the same people in a different pose.
