Guests pose for the photograph on the porch, balcony and roof of the three-story hotel, which sports a clapboard veneer. Carriages also filled with guests are parked out front. A sign affixed to a post in front of the hotel reads "Livery and Feed Stable" A circle is demarcated by a post-and-rope fence in the left foreground in which two children are playing.
