The title of "No. 1 salesman of Los Angeles" was given to Mayor Fletcher Bowron by Jerry Kaufhold (left) and Lyman Dunbar, President of the Sales Executives Sales Club of Los Angeles. It all came about because the mayor went around the world by airplane visiting 15 countries in six weeks to promote world trade into the Los Angeles Harbor.
