Text written under photo: "School Children Planting Garden Vacant Lot 1910." Photo shows a large group of children, boys and girls, planting a garden in a vacant lot in what appears to be the Tenderloin. A small audience is gathered at the fence watching them.A "Class A Garage" in the background is decorated with "Ghirardelli's Cocoa" signs. Negative, no. 23,376.
