Marching up J Street is a contingent of men in uniform, all carrying flags. At this point in the procession the marchers are just approaching the Eleventh Street intersection. Identifiable businesses are: The Castle Liquors (1008 J Street); A.E. Throne Paints (1010 J Street); Golden West Cafe (1014 J Street); Singer Sewing Machine Company (1018 J Street); Manual Joseph (it sports a GE sign - 1020 J Street); Sherwin Williams (paints and wallpaper - 1024 J Street); the USO above Sherwin Williams at 1024 J Street; and Theodore's Grocery (1030 J Street). #1068 includes a photo of this unit earlier in the parade as it crosses Eighth Street.
