Photograph of paving on Sunset Boulevard east of Serrano Avenue, 1930. At center, a wide stretch of paved road is separated by a narrow rift that extends down its center into the distance. Homes and palm trees line the sidewalks left and right. The surface of the street pictured was two-inch Warrenite-Bitulithic on a six-inch Portland Cement concrete base. Compares to CHS-43999 and CHS-44001.
