Description
This map has the western states still a part of Mexico. Someone has hand drawn the 1848 border between the US and Mexico in pencil. They have also indicated by hand the location of gold strikes. For an earlier edition of this map see Museum Book Store collection 093-169s. See Phillips, Atlases, v. 1 no. 794. Prime meridian: GM. Relief: hachures. Graphic Scale: Miles, leagues.
