Real photo postcard of boxer Joe Rivers, Exhibit Supply Company, Chicago, 1921. The image is a closeup of Rivers in a boxing stance with his name and home location of Los Angeles at the bottom. On the reverse is a biographical and career sketch, including the opening "one of the few Spanish boxers who has made good in the ring." Rivers was born Joseph Hilliard Ybarra and seems to have retired about this time. With soiling, edge rubbing, and a small stain, the overall condition is good.
