Part of a threatening letter which Melosh was alleged to have written Morris, the circle showing a section used for handwriting comparison by Mr. Carlson. Bernice Morris was secretary to A. A. Melosh (along with R. A. McKinley), who was the father of Harry Melosh, the mysterious Mr. Martin of the McPherson case.
