They are attending a religious service conducted by Kusum Patel. The Gayatri Gyan Mandir, Pragya Yug Literature Center, is devided into two parts. The front of the temple is a bookstore, and the rear is a temple where religious services are held. The two women in the photograph are wearing saris, and one holds a young child on her lap. Both women have a Tilak, (red spot in center of forehead). The men are dressed in western shirts, and one is holding a young child on his lap.
