Description
Ceremonial sword in metal scabbard. Sword has wire wound leather grip; at top end of grip is crouching lion atop helmet on moustached figure head. Hilt has figure of a falcon at each end and embossed letters "FCB" at center on one side; oval shield with embossed lily blossom and letters "U" & "R" on either side. Engraved on blade: "Knights of Pythias, W. G. Meahr," shield with crossed axes and helmet and knight in armor, letters "KP." On Scabbard: Image of bearded male figure in loin cloth, arms wrapped around two columns. Figure is in leg irons, standing on steps. Letters "FCB" and "KP."
