Description
This ad opens to an audience listening to Ronald Reagan, who talks from the stage about Social Security. He asserts that any reform to the program must have as its first priority a guarantee that those who depend on Social Security will continue to receive monthly benefits that keep pace with inflation. He goes on to call for a balanced budget. This television commercial for the 1976 Ronald Reagan presidential campaign aired around January 22, 1976. It was created by the Citizens for Reagan campaign committee for the Republican Party presidential nomination in 1976.
