The group is mostly made up of female nursing staff in uniform, and one male member of the nursing staff. Matron of the hospital, Emily Godfrey, sits in the centre of the group. Emily Godfrey worked at the hospital from 1921 to 1944. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey.
