Located at 6290 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood and designed by architect Douglas Honnold of the firm Honnold & Rex, the 18-story International Style tower was the first skyscraper built in Los Angeles after the city repealed its 14-story building height limit.; John C. Austin designed the 1938 Art Deco style NBC radio facilities located at Sunset and Vine in Hollywood. It was replaced by a Home Savings & Loan bank in 1967. Looking northeast across Vine Street, showing the Sunset Vine Tower under contruction. On the northeast corner of the intersection, left, is NBC's Radio City (later demolished). Dated April 19, 1962.
