Photographic portrait of men standing outside of a Vernon Street Railway Car barn on the corner of 22nd Street and Central Avenue, Los Angeles, ca.1890. The barn sports a clapboard veneer and is double-tiered, its primary building being two stories tall, while its longer annex is only one. Ten men pose in front of two streetcars parked to the right of the image while other men tend horses one to the right of the main opening of the barn, the other to the left. The numbers 1 through 10 have been written in marker at the bottom right margin of the negative.
