"Chiang Belts of T. T. and U. U. Museum May 20, '34. D. S. Dye, Chengtu W China" [now Chengdu] Nine belts on display, each with their own design motif.
Daniel S. Dye was a faculty member at West China Union University who traveled widely in west China to gather examples of woven handiwork and lattice patterns.
