Description
Photograph of Little girl sitting, Los Angeles, 1999. Little girl in a white t-shirt is sitting on the stage area of a mobile outreach truck. (The wall of the truck is folded down to create the stage.) Behind her, Pastor Julian Toriz, president and founder of Metro Kidz International (left), is setting up audio equipment. One woman is holding a half-blown-up balloon, and she is standing next to a sign that says, "Stay away from anything that would cause you to turn your back on Jesus." The outreach took place at an empty lot in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles.
