Description
Almonte station around 1940, showing men standing at station next to railroad tracks. This was the turnoff from the main line to a branch line of Northwestern Pacific Railroad to Mill Valley. This is now (2016) Almonte Boulevard turning into Miller Avenue, and near the station house on the left is the Golden Gate Transit stop and a small commuter parking area.
