The first and second sides of the cassette tape both contain a recording of NOW's media committee meeting. At the meeting, members discussed topics such as applying to the national NOW committee, the Communications Act Rewrite, and writing to publicize the Equal Rights Amendment. In addition, the members also brainstormed ways to help “disadvantaged†women in society, strategies for working with congressmen and other NOW committee chairs with giving their media legislation more publicity, and approaches for further distributing feminist ideas on television.
