Opened on June 10, 1938 by the Hollywood Turf Club, Hollywood Park was renamed Betfair Hollywood Park on March 13, 2012. It was a thoroughbred and standardbred race course. The racetrack was closed after the final race on December 22, 2013. Photograph dated May 8, 1962 reads "The $20,000 feature will draw the nation's best sprinters for first day meeting."
