Description
The City of Los Angeles has increased its offer for the towns of Big Pine, Bishop, Independence, Lone Pine, and Laws to roughly 5.6 million. The article reports that this sum should settle the matter between the Owens Valley towns and the City of Los Angeles. However, the writer of the article worries that Bishop may not accept the offer because it had asked for a much higher price.
