Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Bruschi Brothers Store in Coulterville, ca.1930. A small sign sits in the ground in front of the crumbling brick structure at center. Two iron double doors occupy most of the front wall while it appears the left part of the wall has been destroyed and the top right corner is missing. Weeds and sticks sit on the left of the store next to another structure that can be seen on the far left. Trees can be seen in the background on the right. Picture file card reads "The sign in front of the place reads: 'Bruschi Brothers Store This famous store was erected in 1851'. The iron doors were shipped around the Horn. At one time, this store was busy enough to have besides three owners, five clerks and a bookkeeper".
