Photograph of a view of Dead Man's Island in San Pedro Bay looking south, ca.1910. The rocky land mass is at center and it sticks out high above the calm water that surrounds it. A small building with a tall, thin pole in front is built on top of the high, steep rocks, and a staircase is visible as it makes its way up the island at left. The island is high and flat in the middle, and it tapers off jaggedly on both sides.
