Description
Early advertisement/flier for the Winchester Mystery House at Winchester Park, John H. Brown Proprietor & Manager. "The Mystery House of 160 Rooms, has Thousands of Doors and Windows, many of them are cut glass inlaid with German silver. The front entrance doors of cut glass are valued at $2000, while many of the art glass windows are worth $1000 each. The Mystery House has 47 fireplaces, six heating systems, has its own gas plant, sewer system and water works. Gold and silver chandeliers, electric and hydraulic elevators, goofy stairways, rooms floored with trap doors, secret passage ways, etc. etc...."
