William A. Clark seen here with his wife, right JoAnn, and mother left, Esther Snook with his Medal of Valor pin, which he received because he rescued five people whose boat capsized near Oceano, San Luis Obispo County. Clark, a supervisor for the Department of Forestry was supervising a cleaning crew on the beach when the accident occured.
