It is a wide paved road divided by streetcar tracks and traveled by many automobiles. A park can be seen at left and is filled with a variety of trees and bushes. Several tall buildings can be seen in the background, and the ocean is visible in the background at right.
Legible signs include, from left to right: "Metropolitan Building", "California National Bank", "The Holder Studios Music Art Dancing", "Peking Café Chop Sue", and "Hoyt's Theatre".
