Several tall buildings can be seen in the background, and the ocean is visible in the background at right. Legible signs include, from left to right: "Metropolitan Building", "California National Bank", "The Holder Studios Music Art Dancing", "Peking Café Chop Sue", and "Hoyt's Theatre".
