Photo article dated October 18, 1961 partially reads, "Ten junior shooters are the proud owners of National Rifle Association hunter safety certificates and are now eligible under California law to receive hunting licenses. The 10 juniors graduated last week from the safety class given by Cloid Hammers of Los Angeles and Charles Alley of Sun Valley at the Angeles Gun Club's range in Marek Canyon behind Hansen Dam." Seen in the photograph are Cloid Hammers, left, and Charles Alley as they teach a group of young boys the correct use of rifles, part of the hunter safety program.
