George H. Larsen was born in Denmark in 1866. Immigrated to United States in 1892, settling in Fresno. In 1896, built a blacksmithing and iron works shop, Larsen & Krog. Possibly built his own house on North Popular Ave. House embodies characteristics of transition between late Quenn Anne and emerging Colonial Revival styles of architecture.
