Image of a central head-and-shoulders profile portrait of English Shakespearean actor Frederick B. Warde in formal dress in an oval frame flanked by two full-length portraits of Warde (one on each side) in costume as two characters: a Roman soldier carrying a shield and sword at left, and as a Roman politician in a toga and sandals with a scroll in his hand; with palm fronds above the portrait and a pile of weapons including a helmet, shield, and sword.
