Description
Snapshots of friends, roommates, San Jose State buildings taken during Gladys Howe's brief stay. According to the donor - Howe's niece - Howe came to San Jose in May 1951 to take a job at San Jose State -- likely in the Library -- but had returned to Cincinnati by September. People identified in the photos: Doris Cralle, June Waller, Betty Temps, Shirley Larell (or Lavell), Betty Richie, Maragret Boone, Gloria Surian, Sharon Connell, Gennie Veneman, Greta Nelson. Buildings identified: "Pres" Hall, The Tower, Library, Women's gym.
