Description
One man exchanges money with the other for a ticket to the Pasadena Junior Chamber of Commerce's twenty-fourth annual ten dollar plate banquet to take place at the Huntington Sheraton Hotel on Wednesday, May 18, 1955. This ticket being sold is ticket number one. The image seems to be a publicity shot for the banquet. It was taken at the Atlas Federal Savings and Loan Association of Pasadena at 722 East Colorado Boulevard, and it was taken on April 15, 1955. Documentation provided by the photographer suggests that one of these men may be George S. Campbell, president of Atlas Federal Savings and Loan Association (he lived at 2065 Windsor Avenue). The image was ordered by Phil Miller for the Pasadena Junior Chamber of Commerce (181 South Los Robles Avenue).
