Description
The 1942 Cinco de Mayo program at City Hall, with many officials and Mexican Americans participating. Left to right: Supervisor Gordon L. McDonough; Mexican Consul Manuel Aguilar; Corinna Mura, singing star; Mayor Fletcher Bowron; Major Gen. Maxwell Murray; Gen. Juan Felipe Rico; and Alfredo Elias Calles, Mexican consul. Two tiny tots, attired in native costume, were Granita and Juan Estrada, shown seated in front.
