Arngeir Langås, født i Norge, cand. theol. fra Menighedsfakultetet, Oslo, 1997. Praktisk pædagogisk uddannelse samt engelsk, Oslo Universitet, 1998-99. Gift med Dorthe Davidsen Langås, 1998. Udsendt af Danmission til Zanzibar, 2002-10. Ansat som missionspræst i ELCT, Zanzibar distrikt, til et arbejde med fokus på at styrke de kristne-muslimske relationer og nedbryde fjendebilleder, opstået gennem mange års stridigheder. Arngeir Langås blev medlem af Religiøse Lederes Fælleskomité for Fred i Zanzibar, og har etableret Zanzibar Interfaith Centre, (www.zanzig.org). Siden 2010 er Arngeir Langås ansat som partnerkoordinator i Mission Afrika, hvor han beskæftiger sig med kristne-muslimske relationer i Danmark og Afrika. (Foto 2002)

Arngeir Langås, born in Norway. BD at MF, Norwegian School of Theology, 1997. Practical Pedagogic Education and English, Oslo University, 1998-99. Married to Dorthe Davidsen Langås, 1998. Sent by Danmission to Zanzibar, 2002-10. Employed as missionary pastor of ELCT, Zanzibar District, for working with improved Christian-Muslim relations and degrade the hostile images, created by lots of controversial issues for many years. Arngeir Langås was member of the Joint Committee of Religious Leaders for Peace in Zanzibar, and has established the Zanzibar Interfaith Centre (www.zanzig.org). Since 2010 Arngeir Langås is employed as partner coordinator of Mission Africa, to work with Christian-Muslim relations in Denmark and Africa. (Photo 2002).
