Photograph of the Redondo Beach Pier and Bath House, ca.1886, before the hotel was built. The bath house is the largest of the small scattering of buildings near the pier. A flag flies from its peaked roof. Numerous large transport containers sit on the pier. Wild grass and other vegetation dominates the foreground, growing just up from the beach at left.
