Description
View of Pacoima dam showing it when the highest secton stood 255 feet above the water line and was then 20 feet shy of completion. The dam, now completed, is 375 feet high. Here we have 100 feet below water, plus 255 feet above water. This looks down on the dam from above where 12,000 acre feet of water will be impounded. It is an arch type structure and is prounced absolutely safe. Photographd March 13, 1929.
