Description
Annotation translation: "The lake has about the same size as the lake of Zong, is surrounded by hills but has no outflow. Further its level is rising a few millimeters each year and one sees trees which once grew on the shore sticking out of the water (see the tree on the photo). About every two years the center of the lake starts to boil, spreading out a smell of sulphur, the cause of which are volcanic activities. Therefore here must be an underground outflow of water."
