Description
Sutter's Mill, Coloma, El Dorado County. DEDICATION IS SET -- The Department of Parks and Recreation has scheduled Jan. 21 [1968] to dedicate a replica of Capt. John Sutter's sawmill which has benn built in Coloma, Eldorado County, where a two-day observance is slated for the 120th anniversary of the discovery of gold in California. The observance will begin Jan. 20. Lt. Gov. Robert Flinch will be grand marshal of the Gold Discovery Day parade Jan. 21.
