Photograph caption dated April 10, 1989 reads, "Anti-apartheid protest: About 25 local high school students crowd into a third-floor hallway at the South African Consulate in Beverly Hills this morning to begin a peaceful demonstration. The members of the Los Angeles Student Coalition say they are trying to prevent any interaction with South Africa that is conducted through the consulate."
