Description
Elizabeth Clark Wiley, as an older woman, sits in a rocking chair reading a newspaper. She is wearing a light colored dress and a sweater and is seated beside large windows and a door with more windows.
Another photograph of Elizabeth Clark Wiley from about 20 years earlier is in JLP 470 Alb. 32 (p. 31). A manuscript inscription on the back of the image reads "Elizabeth Clark Wiley ; Uncle Byron Wiley's wife. ; Dec. 15, 1926 ; Day they left for ; Fillmore via ; Aunt Netta's at ; Berkeley - ; Killed auto. accident ; 17th Dec."
